Dr. Amongero limits his practice to spine surgery and has undergone specialized training in all areas of spine care including cervical, thoracic and lumbar conditions in the adult and child.

Dr. Amongero completed medical school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. His spine surgery fellowship was completed at the University of California Davis, as well Dr. Amongero completed an AO Fellowship at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Dr. Amongero is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a candidate Fellow for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is an Assistant Medical Professor of Surgery of Wright State University School of Medicine.

  • Greater Dayton Surgery Center
