Dr. Kim is a native of Chicago and stayed in the area to complete both his undergraduate degree and medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School. Following graduation, Dr. Kim served his orthopedic residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. In addition, Dr. Kim pursued additional training and completed a one-year fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the State University of New York in Buffalo.
