Orthopedic surgeon Jeffrey Hoskin, MD, focuses his practice on spine surgery. Dr. Hoskins has undergone specialized training in all areas of spine care, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar conditions in adults. He is proud to be a part of the experienced team at Orthopaedic Institute of Dayton, with three locations inDayton, Springboro, and Tipp City, Ohio.
Dr. Hoskins was born and raised in Independence, Missouri. He attended college and medical school at the University of Missouri and stayed there to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery. While in Missouri, Dr. Hoskins received several honors, including membership to Phi Beta Kappa as well as other academic honor societies, and graduated Summa Cum Laude for his undergraduate studies and Cum Laude in medical school.
During his orthopedic training, Dr. Hoskins received the Litton Award in Excellence for providing "A genuine and sincere concern for patients, commitment to the highest patient care standards, respect and consideration for co-workers, and a balance of priorities in life." He also received the Gainor Award in education given for "Qualities as a leader in education." After residency, Dr. Hoskins completed a spine surgery fellowship at OrthoIndy in Indianapolis.
Dr. Hoskins is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is currently a member of the American Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Association, and North American Spine Society. He is also on faculty at Wright State University as Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Hoskins is on staff at Greater Dayton Surgery Center, Kettering Medical Center, Miami Valley Hospital, Sycamore Hospital, and Soin Medical Center.
